Magnesia bricks are made from brick-making materials. They are produced through crushing, batching, mixing, forming, and then firing at a high temperature of 1550~1600℃. The firing temperature for high-purity products is above 1750℃. They are mainly used for the permanent linings of steelmaking furnaces, non-ferrous metal smelting furnaces, high-temperature tunnel kilns, linings of magnesia brick calcining kilns and cement rotary kilns, the furnace bottoms and walls of heating furnaces, and various bricks for the regenerators of glass kilns, etc.
